Notes:
-focus on one tree.
-Use a narrow aperture, ~16
-Trees can be used to be the backround to your subject, say a waterfall or flower.
- Different times of day will change the mood of the photo.
-Focus on what makes a tree unique.
-Try to isolate the tree that acts as your subject.
Reflecton:
This week went in the direction of using the trees as a tool of framing rather than being the main subjects. I tried some unfamiliar settings on my phone, portrait mode allows the subject to focus at a much finer resolution. While I did get ok shots, I wish specifically on the "dead end" picture that I'd gone closer to the sign, just to get the road out of there, and more focus on the sign. There were some shots that I will probably go back to in later assignments. I think the main thing I accomplished was figuring out my area and trying something new with the phone camera.
