Notes:
-The direction the eyes of a subject are facing can drastically change the mood of the photo.
-A lack of eye contact can give the feeling that they're in deep thought.
-Makeup can be used to draw focus towards the eyes.
Reflection:
I liked this prompt, felt as though it worked well beyond the class for taking reference photos for drawing. I learned that every detail in portrait photography counts, this is because of how well we pick up on facial expressions. Having the camera too far can give a sense of detachment as thought the subject is their own being while having the camera up close is much more intimate and intense no matter what emotion they're portraying.
