Food photography

Camera settings-

Studio light settings,

Lighting notes-

Natural, white light.

Editing-

Changed the saturation and warmth of the photo to make it appear more old fashioned looking, something you'd see in a weathered advertisement, only in terms of it's color.

Notes on article-

- Using subjects to guide your eye around the photo

-Using a bland cool color to contrast a bright warm popping subject.

-Use contrasting colors to draw your eye to different places.

-Use other objects to give a reference to how large your subject is.

Notes on video-

-Lighting is essential to a professional looking image.

-Flash can be used to get rid of unnecessary shadows.

-Direct light is often too much.

- White boards, cardboard or foam can be used to bounce light.

Reflection:

This week went well, My final photo has good composition, as well, it has nuetral cooler colors that make the warm and complimenting reds and greens pop out. The use of the cilantro helped with having a pattern of color.
