TECHNIQUES: For this project, I used a black box, as well as my sketchbook as the background, though looking back I could've gotten better-controlled lighting if I were to just use any old empty box on its side. Only letting light in from one angle. i used my phone light as it's much more white and focused than my lamp, and by using bounce light I reflected it onto the subject without lighting up the backround.
